Headed out to West Neck Marina late due to having to work some this morning. Got out around 1100 (11 a.m for you civies)!
Temp was nice, in the mid 70's, slight breeze that was switching, and water temps at the 60 to 62 degree mark. Water was little dirty, but not too bad.
Spent a few hours throwing my Terminator 3/8oz. Spinnerbait with custom skirt. Ended up with one 2 3/4lb. bass that was a blast to catch. Had a few others slap the bait. I definately need to add a trailer hook to my bait...even though I know I will snag alittle more, it will help catch most of those short strikers!
Forgot to post went out last week and got a big GOOSE EGG!!! Nada. Put in at West Landing Marina, the launch next to the store I think has silted in as it was SHALLOW!!! Won't be using that ramp agian with my boat!!! Thinking tomorrow if the wind dies down some in the afternoon, I might put in at Mundon Point and try out Blackwater Creek. Try some new water for a change!
